The 2017-2018 flu season has been the worst season since 2009. It may be winding down but it is far from over. With reports of Hospitals setting up free flu shot clinics and the CDC recommending getting a second flu shot, we have to ask ourselves why it has been so bad this year.

Between 12,000 and 59,000 people are killed in the U.S. alone from the flu and hospitalizing 700,000. The flu is spread from person to person when infected people cough, sneeze or talk. Infected droplets land on surfaces that you touch contaminating you when you touch your mouth or nose.

Why is this years flu season so bad?

We are cross contaminating everything. Sick people are bringing the flu to work. Your children are bring it home from school or daycare. Your bring it to work from home. Now you are out of work, kids are home from school, medical bills are piling up, employers are losing production hours. What if I tell you all of this is preventable.
